Résumé/abstract:
Ambient Intelligence (AmI) has become an active research with many potential applications, such as home, office, education, entertainment, health care, security and surveillance…The contextual information of person position and identity are two of the most crucial attributes for AmI. In order to determine position (where a person is) and identity (who a person is) in environment, two problems of person localization and identification need to be solved. A wide range of sensors or technologies have been proposed for person localization and identification, but no overall solution based on a single technology is perfect for all applications. Fusion of them is a new trend for solving person localization and identification. My presentation will be shown with an introduction about my work; the main contributions and testing results for person localization and identification in indoor environments by using single method of WiFi or camera, and fusion method of both WiFi and camera; conclusion and future works also given out in this presentation.
