Borobudur, a Buddhist stupa in the Mahayana tradition built in the 9th century during the reign of the Syailendra dynasty, is the world’s biggest Buddhist monument, and an ancient site widely considered it to be one of the world’s seven wonders. Borobudur is best seen at dawn, when the air is fresh and full of birdsong, therefore we offer a trip for those who want to challenge to wake up early morning to see sunrise at Borobudur. As the grounds of the park don’t officially open until 6am, we will use special entry ticket through Manohara Borobudur. The cultural event will continue with breakfast at Plataran Borobudur and village tour (pottery making, kopi luwak, and batik making). Alternatively, we also offer for those who don’t want to wake up early morning to do only visit Borobudur in the morning or only village tour. (Note that the activities may be adjusted depends on the weather conditions on May 12th).
