Résumé/abstract:
Digitizing ancient buildings or artefacts has been made simple. Once calibrated the reconstruction process of 3D objects takes some time but completes in accurate models. The step after is to be able to store the data and to index an object or a part of an object in databases. Since this work is time-consuming, mesh analysis can help experts to identify, characterise, compare or "repair" a set of artefacts.
