Mise en place d’un projet de recherche fédérant un réseau de collaborations internationales entre quatre pôles de recherche en Asie (Vietnam, Singapour, Japon et Taiwan) et des laboratoires français, permettant, en sus des résultats scientifiques, d’augmenter le flux d’échanges de chercheurs entre l’Asie et la France, en particulier les doctorants.

Le projet sera articulé autour de deux axes principaux :
- développement d’actions de recherche fondamentale sur l’extraction sémantique, le raisonnement et la fusion de données multimédia
- application de ces résultats de recherche principalement dans les domaines à fort impact sociétal que sont l’enseignement à distance, la surveillance automatique, et le médical.

Implementation of a research project involving an international cooperation programme between four Asian research centers (Vietnam, Singapore, Japan and Taiwan) and French laboratories which, beneath scientific results, will increase the flow of exchange researchers between Asia and France, especially Ph.D students.

 The project will focus on two main axes:
- developing actions of fundamental research on semantic extraction, reasoning and multimedia data fusion
- applying these research results mainly to fields with a strong impact on society : e-learning, smart environments and data mining for medical applications.
